Okra Tomato Fritters

1/2 lb. fresh okra washed and sliced
1 large tomato diced to 1/2" cubes
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
2 tbs. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes. Drop by large spoonfuls into 1/4" hot cooking oil. Fry on each side until golden brown. Serve immediately
