    Squash Casserole



    5 or 6 medium size yellow crookneck squash

    1 – 8-ounce package of shredded cheddar cheese

    ¼ cup of breadcrumbs

    Milk

    Season salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees



    Wash and slice squash, removing and discarding the ends.
    Boil squash until tender, drain and place squash into a bowl. Add
    the entire package of shredded cheddar cheese and blend together
    thoroughly.

    Move the squash and cheese mixture into a medium size-
    baking dish and add enough milk to cover the bottom of the baking
    dish.

    Sprinkle the top of the squash casserole with the
    breadcrumbs and season the top with the season salt.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until the
    top of the squash casserole becomes lightly browned.

    Remove from heat and serve.
