Frozen Biscuits
Butter
Seedless Blackberry jam or preserves
Fresh or frozen blackberries, raspberries and blueberries
Ramekins for baking
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. For each serving:
In individual ramekin place 1 TBS butter, 3 TBS jam or preserves, 3 TBS total fresh berries, and top with one biscuit. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Serve in ramekin or carefully tip out into bowl. Sprinkle with
confectioners sugar.
Serve warm.
Variations:
* Use your favorite homemade biscuit recipe by dropping the dough on top of the jam for the last 10 minutes of baking.
* Substitute the blackberry jam with any of your favorite jams and preserves.
* Use any seasonal fruit instead of jam. Dice the ripe fruit and cook on stove till desired consistency. Add sugar to taste.
