    Sweet Roll Dough

    2 pkgs. active dry yeast

    1/2 cup warm water

    1/2 cup lukewarm milk (scalded then cooled)

    1/2 cup sugar

    1 tsp. salt

    2 eggs

    1/2 cup shortening or marg.

    4 1/2 to 5 cups of flour


    Recipe



    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in milk, sugar, salt, eggs,

    shortening

    and 2 1/2 cups of flour Beat until smooth. Mix in enough flour

    to make dough

    easy to handle. Turn out on lightly floured board, knead until

    smooth and

    elastic, about 5 min. Place in greased bowl, turn greased

    sideways up cover

    let rise until double. About 1 1/2 hours. Punch down dough.

    Shape dough

    into desired rolls. For Cinnamon rolls use half of dough, roll

    into

    rectangular and spread with 2 Tbs. Oleo. Mix 1/4-cup sugar and

    2 tsp.

    Cinnamon. Roll beginning at wide side, cut roll into slices.

    Place slightly

    apart in greased baking pan 13x9x2". Let rise until double.

    Bake 25 to 30

    min. Frost.
