    Wet Corn Bread

    2 cup cornmeal

    4 tbsp. melted butter

    1/2 cup sugar

    2 tsp. salt

    3 eggs

    1 1/2 cup milk

    3 cup boiling water



    Boil water and pour over the cornmeal and butter

    Cover with lid and let steam while fixing other ingredients

    Beat eggs well

    Add eggs to sugar, salt, milk

    Combine all ingredients together and beat well

    Bake in a greased pan or dish 11 3/4x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 inches

    Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

    If top does not turn golden brown. Spread butter over top for the last 15 minutes

    Good with any meal or pan fried fro breakfast with bits of cheese melted on top
