Recipe Introduction
Here is a biscuit recipe that it SO delicious, You can also increase the sugar to
make a great base for Strawberries and Whipped Cream.

Heavenly Biscuits from David
2 c all purpose flour
1 c whole wheat flour (or use all white flour, if preferred)
2 T sugar
4 1/2 t baking powder
3/4 t cream of tartar
1/2 t canning salt
3/4 c butter, cold
1 large egg
1 c milk
Recipe
In a bowl combine first 6 ingredients, cut butter in with a pastry
blender of fork until crumbly. Combine egg and milk with a fork or wire
whisk. Stir into crumb mixture until all ingredients are moist. Turn out
onto a floured surface, knead 10 to 15 times. Roll out to 1-inch
thickness, cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on a greased
cookie sheet. Bake in a 450* oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden
brown.
Makes 1 dozen.
