1 yellow cake mix
2 pkg yeast
5 1/2 to 6 c flour
2 1/2 to 3 c warm water
pinch of salt
Cinnamon Mixture:
1 1/2 c brown sugar
soft butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c chopped nuts
Recipe
Combine cake mix and flour. Combine water and yeast. Add
flour mixture to
yeast mixture and stir or use dough hooks on electric
mixer. Add enough
flour to make dough soft and smooth. Place on lightly
floured surface and
knead until satiny smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover
and let rise until
doubled. Divide dough. Roll out dough 1/2-inch thick.
Spread with soft
butter and cinnamon mixture. Roll like jelly roll and
slice 1-inch
thick. Place in greased pan, cover. Let raise until
doubled. Bake at 350
degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove and frost while still
warm.
