    Applesauce cake 2

    Applesauce cake

    I cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup soft butter
    1 egg
    1 tspn vanilla
    1 cup chunky applesauce
    2 cups flour
    1 tspn salt
    1 tspn b. soda
    1 tspn gr. cinnamon
    1/2 tspn gr. cloves
    1 cup raisins
    1/2 cup ch. nuts



    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350°f.
    Beat tog sugar & butter till fluffy, then beat in egg, vanilla & applesauce. Stir in rest of ingredients & pour into 9"x5" pan.
    Bake 1 hr-1hr 15mins till done. Cool 20 mins before removing to rack.
