    Chocolate Chunk Coffee Cake

    1/2 cup butter, soft
    1&1/4 cup sugar, divided
    2 large eggs
    1&3/4 cup flour
    1 teasp baking soda
    1/2 teasp baking powder
    1/4 teasp salt
    1 (8 ounce)carton sour cream
    1/2 teasp vanilla
    1 (4 ounce) package sweet baking chocolate,
    coarsely chopped
    1/2 cup pecans or walnuts chopped
    1 teasp cinnamon

    Recipe



    Beat butter and gradually add 1 cup sugar. Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
    Combine flour,soda, powder and salt; add to butter alternately with sour cream. Stir in vanilla.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar, chocolate, nuts and cinnamon.. Pour half of batter into a prepared 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle with half of chocolate mix. Top with remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining chocolate.
    Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
