DELLA DUTCH APPLE CAKE
CAKE:
1-13 C. OIL
3 . EGGS
2 C. SUGAR
2 TSP. VANILLA
3 C. FLOUR
1 TSP. SODA
1 TSP. SALT
1 C. CHOPPED PECANS
3 C. CHOPPED APPLES
GLAZE:1 C. LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
1/4 C. MILK
6 T. BUTTER OR MARGERINE
OVEN:350

CAKE:
MIX OIL, EGGS, SUGAR AND VANILLA WELL.
SIFT TOGETHER: FLOUR, SODA AND SALT.
COMBINE THE TWO SETS OF INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL.
FOLD IN PECANS AND APPLES.
POUR INTO GREASED AND FLOURED TUBE PAN.
BAKE 1 HOUR.
GLAZE:
PUT ALL INGREDIENTS IN SMALL SAUCEPAN AND BRING TO BOIL. COOK 3 MINUTES.
WHEN DONE, AFTER 5 MINUTES, REMOVE PAN FROM AROUND CAKE. LEAVE ON TUBE.
POUR HOT SAUCE OVER HOT CAKE.
