Ho-Ho Cake
1-18 oz. pkg. Chocolate Fudge or Devil's Food Cake mix
Bake as directed in a 15 x 10 x 1 jelly roll pan. Cool.
Filling:
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup Crisco
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 5 oz (2/3 cup) can of evaporated milk
Combine ingredients and beat for 10 minutes. Spread filling over the top of cooled cake.
Frost:
1-16 oz. plastic can of chocolate frosting
(Melt frosting in microwave for 45 seconds depending on the power of the microwave)
Pour and spread over filling. Refrigerate until ready to cut and serve.
Make 24-36 servings depending on how large pieces are cut.
