    1 (3oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened

    1/2 cup butter, softened

    1 cup flour

    1 egg, beaten

    2/4 cup brown sugar

    1 Tbs. butter, softened

    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Dash of salt

    3/4 cup pecans, broken up

    Recipe



    Blend first two ingredients. Stir in flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape dough

    into 24-inch balls. Press dough in ungreased 1-3/4 inch muffin pans.

    Put dough over bottom and up sides. In bowl, combine remaining

    ingredients except nuts. Beat until smooth. Divide pecans among

    pastry shells. Spoon 1/2 Tbs. mixture over pecans in each shell.

    Bake 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes, or until set and crust is

    golden brown.
