    Oreo "Mud" Pie EDIT

    Source of Recipe

    FUN Place
    Oreo "Mud" Pie

    This is the best!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't found one person yet that didn't love it!

    * 1 Package Oreo Cookies
    * 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    * 8 oz. cream cheese
    * 2 - 8 oz containers Kool-whip
    * 1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding (the one that uses 3 cups milk)

    Crush cookies and mix with butter. Put 1/2 c. aside. Press remaining in a 13X9 firmly. (the more firmly the better, because otherwise it crumbles when you take it out of the pan!)

    Mix cream cheese with 8 oz of kool-whip. Spread on top of cookie crust.

    Prepare pudding according to directions and pour on top of cream cheese layer. Refridgerate for 5 min.

    Spread other 8 oz of kool-whip on pudding layer.

    Sprinkle the 1/2 c. of remaining cookie crumbs on kool-whip layer.

    Refridgerate, over-night if possible.

    I usually use my food processor to crush the cookies and to mix the cream cheese with the kool-whip. It seems to make the cream cheese layer more firm, so it's not so sloppy when you cut into it.
