Pecan Pie
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (get the real stuff, its worth it!)
1/2 stick melted butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 c. packed dark brown sugar
1 c. pecan bits
1/2 c. whole pecan halves to decorate the top
Recipe
mix everything but the last 1/2 c. pecan halves in a bowl and pour into an
unbaked pie crust. Decorate the top with the halves and place in a 400F
preheated oven for 15 min. After that, lower the temp to 350 and leave for
45 min.
