Pumpkin Pound Cake

4 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tbs pumpkin spice
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups of light brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
5 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 can of pumpkin (NOT pie mix)
Glaze:
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbs maple syrup
3-4 tsp milk
Combine dry cake ingredients and set aside On medium high speed - beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy Add eggs - one at a time - mixing well Alternate adding flour mixture and butter milk Add pumpkin Combine well on low speed Pur into a greased tube or bundt pan Bake at 350 for 1 hour Cool, remove from pan, and add glaze
Glaze:
Whisk together one cup of confectioners sugar, 2 tbs of maple syrup, and milk by the tsp until desired consistency and pour over cake.
