Recipe Introduction
Raspberries were one of the first European plants brought to America. They belong to the rose family and are usually red or purple - although you can also find gold and black. These sweet berries have tiny edible seeds and an intense flavor and aroma. This makes them perfect for flavors and syrups, but their most common use is in preserves and pies. They like to grow in the northern temperate zones - and they like to be eaten everywhere.
