Strawberry Lover's Pie

List of Ingredients
1 prepared baked 9 inch pie shell, cold
2 squares semisweet chocolate (2 ounces)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese softened
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 to 4 cups hulled fresh strawberries
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1 square semi sweet chocolate (1 ounce) melted
Recipe
In heavy, small saucepan, melt semi-sweet chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring occasionally. Spread chocolate mixture evenly over bottom and sides of prepared pie shell.
In a mixing bowl, beat together 2 packages of cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread evenly in pie shell. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Before serving, arrange berries, hulled end down over firm cream cheese and sour cream filling.
In another small saucepan, heat strawberry jam until just melted. Add some water until thin. Drizzle over arranged berries in pie. Drizzle strawberries with melted chocolate. Store pie in refrigerator.
Makes 8 servings.
