    Baked Ziti (Light) Casserole

    List of Ingredients

    6 cups Ziti -- (16 oz.) uncooked
    1 pound Beef 97% Lean 3% Fat -- ground
    1 onion -- finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic -- minced
    3 cups low-fat spaghetti sauce -- meatless (or 28-oz. jar)
    1/2 cup dry red wine (optional)
    1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
    1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
    Salt and ground black pepper -- to taste
    1 cup lowfat shredded mozzarella cheese


    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions 7
    minutes; drain. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook meat, onion and
    garlic; drain. In large bowl, stir together meat mixture, pasta,
    spaghetti sauce, wine and seasonings. Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish;
    sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes. 8 servings.
