Low Calorie Hamburger Soup

List of Ingredients
1 (32 oz.) can tomato juice
1 can green beans with juice
1 can whole tomatoes
1 carrot, peeled and grated
1 onion, chopped
3 ribs celery, thinly sliced
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 bay leaf
pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. each: tarragon,
rosemary, parsley and basil
Recipe
Brown hamburger and drain well. Combine with all other
ingredients in crock-pot. Cook on high for 2 hours, turn down
to low temperature and cook an additional 2 hours.
Note: Remove bay leaf after 30 minutes, two teaspoons
low sodium beef bouillon makes soup heartier but is optional.
