    Pumpkins are 90 percent water. They were once recommended for removing freckles and curing snake bites. We don't know if that works, but we DO know they are good to eat!

    Pumpkin Dessert


    29 oz. can pumpkin
    3 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 cup chopped nuts
    6 oz. butter or oleo
    1 box yellow cake mix


    Recipe

    Mix the pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar and spices in a large bowl. Pour into a 9"x13" cake pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the pumpkin mixture. Melt the butter and drizzle over the cake mix. Top with the pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
