    Honey-Roasted Peanut Crisps

    1-cup packed brown sugar

    1/2-margarine or butter, softened

    1/2-cup shortening

    1-tsp vanilla

    1-egg

    2-cups all-purpose flour

    1/2-tsp salt

    2-cups honey-roasted peanuts


    Recipe



    Heat oven to 375 ºF. Mix brown sugar, margarine, shortening, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. About 4 dozen cookies.
