    Pumpkin Date Raisin Cookies

    Can be iced.

    1 C. margarine
    1 C. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 C. pumpkin
    2 t. vanilla
    2 C. flour
    1 t. baking powder
    1 t. baking soda
    2 t. cinnamon
    1/2 t. salt
    1 1/2 C. raisins
    1 1/2 C. nuts
    1 C. chopped dates

    Recipe



    Cream margarine and sugar, add egg, pumpkin, vanilla -mix well. Add dry ingredients gradually to cream mixture.
    Fold in raisins, dates, and nuts. Drop by T. on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 min. Cool.

    Icing: Melt 3 T. margarine, add 3 T. milk, 1 t. vanilla, and enough powdered sugar to make a thick icing. (maybe about 4 cups.) Spread over cookies.
