    House of Blues’ White Chocolate Bread Pudding

    House of Blues’ White Chocolate Bread Pudding

    French Bread ½ lb
    Milk 1-¾ cups
    Heavy Cream 1-¾ cups
    Vanilla Extract 2/3 tsp
    Granulated Sugar 14 ½ oz
    Egg Yolks 5 yolks
    White Chocolate ½ lb
    Bananas 1


    Recipe

    1.) In a stainless steel mixing bowl, combine Egg Yolks, Sugar and Vanilla.

    2.) In a saucepan, bring Milk & Heavy Cream to a boil.

    3.) Melt White Chocolate over a double boiler (Chocolate can also be melted in the microwave).

    4.) Temper Egg Mixture with Hot Milk Mixture.

    5.) Combine Milk/ Egg Mixture with Chocolate.

    6.) Thoroughly toss Bread with Chocolate Mixture and chopped Bananas.

    7.) Allow Bread to soak Chocolate mixture for approximately 30 minutes.

    8.) Bake in greased casserole dish or in 10 oz soufflé cups at 350 degrees until firm (approximately 45 minutes bake time).
