Peaches & Cream Pudding Bread
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
Pinch of cinnamon
1 1/2 cups buttermilk baking mix (like Bisquick)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (15 oz) can sliced peaches
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Melt butter, set aside.
Drain peaches; reserve juice.
Grease a 13x9-inch pan. Place drained peaches in baking pan. Pour can of
sweetened condensed milk over peaches.
Combine baking mix, cinnamon, vanilla, milk and saved peach juice in a bowl;
mix well. Pour batter over peaches and sweetened condensed milk. Drizzle
the melted butter evenly over all. Stir only three times.
Bake for 15 minutes and score the top; continue baking for another 5-10
minutes for a total of 20-25 minutes (or until golden brown).
Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
