    Pineapple Lime Sorbet

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 c pineapple puree
    2 t grated lime or lemon zest
    3/4 c freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
    1/4 c water thin slices lime or lemon


    Recipe

    In a bowl, stir together pineapple puree, lime zest and juice,
    water and, if desired, sugar. In an ice cream maker, freeze
    according to manufacturer's directions. Divide among 4 individual
    dessert dishes. Serve garnished with thin slices of lime. If you
    don't have an ice cream maker, pour into a baking dish and freeze
    until solid. Break into small pieces; in a food processor, pulse
    on and off until smooth. Store in freezer until ready to serve.
    Makes 4 servings.

    Nutritional information: 38 calories, no fat, 1 g protein,
    11 g carbohydrates, no cholesterol, 1 mg sodium, 1 g fiber.
