    Diabetic Quick Chili

    - 2 teaspoons olive oil
    - 1 medium onion, chopped
    - 1 small red pepper, chopped
    - 4 cloves garlic, minced
    - 1 pound lean pork tenderloin, trimmed and ground (your butcher will do this for you)
    - 3 tablespoons ground chili powder
    - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    - 1/2 teaspoon allspice
    - 2 cups canned tomatoes, coarsely chopped, undrained
    - 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
    - 1 tablespoon red wine
    - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    - Fresh ground pepper to taste

    Recipe



    In a stockpot over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the
    onion and pepper and saute for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and
    saute for 2 minutes. Add the pork and saute for 5 minutes.

    Add the remaining ingredients and simmer
    over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.

    Yield: 6 servings
