1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 large, sweet yellow onion, sliced 1/4-inch thick, separated into
rings
1 egg white
Recipe
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine crumbs, salt, and pepper in a
shallow dish. Dip onion rings in egg white, then in crumbs.
Place rings on a nonstick baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes.
Makes 2 servings.
