    Low Fat Quick Tomato Sauce

    16 ounce can Italian plum tomatoes, good quality
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tablespoon dried oregano
    1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
    coarse salt
    freshly ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

    1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor and puree. Taste
    and adjust with salt and pepper.
