Lowfat Lasagna Casserole
1 lb extra-lean ground turkey breast, browned & drained
1 can tomatoes, drained and chopped (16 oz)
3 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
1/2 c chopped onion
1/4 c chopped green pepper
1 1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1/2 t oregano
8 to 12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 2 oz fat-free Mozzarella cheese
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 13-inch by 9-inch baking pan
with non-stick cooking spray. In a large skillet, add tomatoes,
tomato sauce, onion, green peppers, and oregano to browned meat.
Simmer 1 hour. Spoon 1/2 of the sauce into prepared pan. Arrange a
layer of noodles over sauce; sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat
layers. Bake 30 to 45 minutes. Allow to stand 5 minutes before
serving. Makes 8 servings.
