Nonfat Whipped Topping
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 cup ice cold water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Before starting chill the bowl and beaters you will be using. Blend the milk powder
and ice water in the chilled bowl, using an electric mixer or a hand beater, beat
until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes. Gradually add the sugar, 1 tablespoon at
a time, beating well after each addition. Add the lemon juice and vanilla; beat
them in only until they are well mixed. Refrigerate and use as you would Whipped
Cream.
