    Butter Pecan Ice Cream

    2 c. half and half
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 tbl. butter
    2 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. toasted pecans, coarsely chopped

    Recipe



    Combine half and half, sugar and butter in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until bubbles form around edges of the pan. Chill. Place mixture in cream canister. Stir in whipping cream and vanilla. Freeze as directed. Add pecans immediately after freezing.
