Classic Steak with Onion-Wine Sauce

Prep: 10 minutes plus marinating
Grill: 16 minutes
1 cup A.1. Classic Steakhouse Marinade
4 strip steaks, 3/4 inch thick (8 oz. each)
4 cups yellow onion wedges
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. dry red wine
Recipe
Pour marinade over steaks in shallow dish; cover. Refrigerate 30 minutes to marinate. Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
Cook onion and garlic in butter in large skillet on medium-high heat 10 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring frequently. Stir in wine. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes.
Place steaks on grill over medium-hot coals or on rack of broiler pan. Grill or broil 6 to 8 minutes on each side for medium-rare to medium doneness.
Serve onion-wine sauce over steaks. Makes 4 servings.
