Fried Meatballs

Recipe Introduction
These are the traditional meatballs made in every family to use up leftover meat.
List of Ingredients
Leftover boiled beef: 11 oz*
2 boiled potatoes
2 eggs
1 garlic clove
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Parsley
Plain flour
A little milk
Nutmeg
Salt and pepper
Oil for frying
Place the beef on a chopping board and with a heavy, sharp knife chop it very finely.
Recipe
Place the chopped meat in a bowl together with the eggs, pureed potatoes, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, touch of nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Mix the ingredients with a little milk, then make long thin patties.
Roll them in flour and fry in plenty of hot oil. Serves 4
*Can be substituted with ground beef, pork or veal.
