    Grilled Herb Mustard Steaks from David

    3 large cloves garlic, crushed
    1 Tbs. water
    3 Tbs. Dijon mustard
    1-1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    3 boneless beef top loin or rib eye steaks, well trimmed, cut 1 inch thick


    Recipe



    In glass measure, combine garlic and water; microwave 30 seconds on High.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except beef. Spread onto both sides of beef
    steaks. Place steaks on grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill top loin steaks
    uncovered 16-18 minutes (rib eye steaks 12-14 minutes) for medium rare to medium
    doneness, turning occasionally. Season steaks with salt, as desired. Carve
    steaks crosswise into thick slices.
