    Italian Style Meatballs

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound ground chuck
    1/4 pound Italian sausage
    1 small onion -- finely chopped
    2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
    1 egg -- slightly beaten
    1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    3 tablespoon chopped italian flat leaf parsley
    3/4 cup bread crumbs
    1 teaspoon salt
    Freshly ground pepper to taste

    Combine all of the above ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix
    thoroughly,
    but gently, by hand or with a wooden spoon. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    (F).
    Spray a cookie sheet with sides using non stick cooking spray. Gently shape
    meatballs into balls (about 12) and arrange in the prepared pan. I find
    that
    when I make meatballs if I use a small ice cream scoop the balls come out
    the same size which means they cook evenly and you always have one clean
    hand! Bake 20 - 30 minutes. Serve meatballs with your favorite sauce over
    pasta or in sandwiches. A green salad tossed with red wine vinaigrette
    would
    be a flavorful side dish.
