1 1/4 pounds flank steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sake or dry sherry
2 tablespoons light or dark brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons Asian peanut oil

Directions
Combine all ingredients except steak in a bowl and mix well. Marinate steak
in a zip-lock bag or shallow glass baking dish overnight. Shake container
several times. Let it come to room temperature before grilling. Pat steak
dry. Grill . Cut against the grain.
