1 lemon
1 orange
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, split
1 chuck steak (1 1/2 inches thick)
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Recipe
Cut fruit into 1/4-inch slices and remove seeds. Heat salad oil and olive oil in skillet. Add fruit slices and garlic. Sauté until fruit rinds brown slightly, about 5 minutes. Press fruit with back of spoon so juices will run out. Place steak in deep dish and pierce with a fork. Pour hot oil mixture over steak and marinate for about 4 to 5 hours. Grill or pan broil over high heat for 8 to 12 minutes, until crispy brown outside and juicy inside. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with the fruit slices.
