8 pork chops
salt
4 med.-size sweet potatoes
2 med. oranges
juice of 3 oranges
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
dash cinnamon
dash nutmeg
Recipe
Trim excess fat from chops. Brown chops in a skillet, seasoning lightly with salt.
In a 13x9" baking dish, arrange potato and orange slices; top with browned chops. Combine orange juice, brown sugar, salt and spices; pour over chops.
Bake, covered with foil, at 350F., about 45 minutes to 1 hr., or until done.
Serves 6-8.
