Barbecue Blues Pizza
crust
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon yeast
2 cups flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tspn kosher salt
1/4 cup olive oil
add all ingredients into a mixer and combine on 1st speed for 3 minutes.
mix an additional 3 minutes on 2nd speed.
let rise for 30 minutes. can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
bbq sauce
marinara
red onion
smoked boston butt
blue cheese
bacon
shredded parmesan and mozzarella
roll out pizza dough. mix 1/3 bbq sauce with 2/3 marinara. spread on pizza crust.
top with pulled boston butt, followed by red onion, blue cheese and bacon.
sprinkle on the parmesan and mozzarella.
bake in a 500 oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
