    2 links (8 ounces total) hot Italian sausage
    4 English muffins, split
    1 15 ounce can pizza sauce
    1 1/4 cups shredded light or part-skim Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Squeeze sausage form links and sauté in a nonstick skillet. Crumble sausage; put in colander and rinse to remove fat.

    Arrange muffin halves on cookie sheet. Spoon equal portions of pizza sauce on each muffin half. Put small pieces of sausage on top of sauce, then top with cheese. Sprinkle with oregano.

    Bake 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
