    Pork Tenderloin

    List of Ingredients

    3 medium cloves of garlic
    1 pound. pork tenderloin, cut in half
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 onion, grated
    Olive oil
    1/4 cup brandy or bourbon
    1/2 cup beef stock
    1/4 cup maple syrup


    Recipe

    Peel the cloves of garlic and slice very thin, and insert the garlic slices all over the pork tenderloin, making sure they are inserted deeply. Salt and pepper the tenderloin lightly all over. Grate the onion and keep to the side.

    Heat a saute pan with olive oil and sear the tenderloin until it is brown on all sides. Take the grated onion and pack it on top of the tenderloin.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake the pork tenderloin until it is medium-done, checking with a meat thermometer after about 45 minutes. Mix the remaining ingredients. Take the pork out of the oven and coat with the glaze from the saute pan. Keep cooking pork on the stove until it is well coated.
