    Using bottled pasta sauce and shredded cheeses makes this classic Italian dish quick and easy -- and so good!
    Prep. time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 20 to 25 minutes
    Serves: 4 to 6

    Chicken Cacciatore

    8 ounces R&F Fettuccine, cooked as package directs
    2 tablespoons flour
    1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
    4 Boneless skinless chicken breast halves, about 1 pound
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms, about 8 ounces
    1/2 cup chopped red onion
    1 (26-ounce) jar CLASSICO roasted garlic pasta sauce
    1 cup (about 4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese, or provolone cheese

    Recipe



    In a shallow dish, combine the flour and Italian seasoning. Coat the chicken with the mixture. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown the chicken in hot oil; remove the chicken from the skillet.

    Add the mushrooms and onion to skillet; cook and stir until tender. Add the pasta sauce and chicken. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. Top each chicken breast with cheese. Serve with hot pasta.
