Pineapple Chicken in Patty Shells

1 package Pepperidge Farm patty shells
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp butter
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 8 oz. can undrained crushed pineapple
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
2 cups cubed, cooked chicken
1 package frozen pea pods
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
Recipe
Prepare patty shells according to package directions. Meanwhile, in
saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender. Add orange juice, brown
sugar, pineapple, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Cook, stirring, over
medium heat until thickened and smooth. Add chicken and pea pods and
heat. Spoon into patty shells. Garnish with almonds.
