    Italian Steak Sandwiches

    Four 6 to 8 inch sandwich buns
    (preferably home baked)
    1/2 lb thinly sliced roasted steak
    (preferably slow roasted)
    12 slices Genoa Salami
    6 to 8 ounces Italian dressing
    1/2 cup rough chopped yellow onion
    1/2 cup rough chopped green bell pepper
    3/4 to 1 lb mozzarella cheese

    open bread onto a baking sheet, spread Italian dressing onto both sides of bread
    place Salami on one side of the bread, and the steak on the other side to ensure it bakes evenly
    add onions, peppers, and cheese then bake at high heat (450-500)until golden and cheese is thoroughly melted
    remove from oven, let sit a few minutes and enjoy.
