    Easy White Clam Sauce

    4 to 6 servings

    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 (10-ounce) cans baby clams, undrained
    1/4 cup dry white wine
    2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    1 teaspoon salt

    In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium-low heat. Add garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes, or until golden, stirring occasionally.

    Add clams, wine, lemon juice, parsley, and salt and cook 10 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

    SERVING TIP: Serve warm sauce over a pound of warm, cooked capellini (angel hair) or your favorite pasta.
