5- 15 ¼ oz Whole Kernel Corn
1-12oz Sour Cream
1-1/2 lb Bacon –fried and crumbled
1 med onion-chopped
½ Green Bell Pepper-chopped (optional)
½ Red Bell Pepper-chopped (optional)
3 tablespoon butter
¼ cup all purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1) Drain corn- save juice
2) Melt butter in skillet; add chopped onion and bell peppers. Sauté until onions are transparent,
3) Sprinkle flour over onion and pepper mix well.
4) Stir sour cream into onion-flour mixture.
5) Add 2 cups of juice from corn and mix well.
6) Add drained corn
7) Add salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
Butter a 9 x13 baking dish.
Corn half of corn mixture into baking dish.
Sprinkle ½ of crumbled bacon over corn.
Add remainder of corn.
Sprinkle with remainder of bacon.
Bake at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly.
