List of Ingredients
2 tbsps. butter
½ cup onion. chopped
¼ cup carrots, chopped
¼ cup celery, chopped
¼ cup flour
¼ tsp. baking soda
2 cups milk
1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
1/4 cup sherry
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp. red pepper, crushed
Recipe
Sauté onions in butter. Add chicken broth, sherry, carrots and celery. Cook till tender. Run through blender. Add flour and soda. Return to stove and add milk. When thickened, add cheese and sprinkle on pepper. Makes 4 servings.
