    4 T butter
    1 lg. chopped onion
    3 raw, diced potatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt, pepper,parsley and basil
    can chicken broth
    1 can cream style corn
    can evaporated. milk
    regular milk

    Recipe



    Melt 4 T. butter. Saute 1 lg. chopped onion in butter. Add 3 raw diced potatoes, 1/2 t. salt, pepper,parsley, and basil. Barely cover with chicken broth and simmer until potatoes are just barely soft. Add 1 can cream style corn and a can of evaporated milk. Add
    enough regular milk to let vegetables float. Heat slowly to boiling point and serve.

    Note: This recipe can also be used to make an excellant clam chowder. Just substitute 4 cans of minced clams in place of the corn.
