Shrimp Chowder
Winter has finally arrived, and I would like to share a house recipe for a creamy shrimp chowder that will warm your spirits.
Ingredients:
2 potatoes
1 small onion
½ cup Celery
2 large Carrots
3 cups water
8oz Cream Cheese
teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
teaspoon Garlic Powder
teaspoon Black Pepper
teaspoon Worcestershire
Clean and dice all vegetables. Add all ingredients above to medium to large stockpot and bring to boil. Boil for 15 minutes and then add ingredients below in order.
1 lb peeled shrimp
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup butter
2 cups Milk
Bring chowder to boil again then serve with favorite cracker or bread and enjoy!
