Weight Watchers Grilled Chicken-Apple Sausage Patties

1 tsp olive oil
2 medium Granny Smith apple(s), peeled, cored and chopped into 1/4-inch pieces
1 pound Tyson Ground Chicken, or other brand
1/4 cup ground sage
3/4 tsp black pepper
3/4 tsp table salt
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger root, fresh, grated
1 serving olive oil cooking spray (5 one-second sprays per serving)
1 small onion(s), finely diced
Recipe
Heat oil in a small saute pan over medium heat, and cook onion until translucent and soft, about 5 minutes. Add apples and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
Combine chicken with onion-apple mixture and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; mix quickly with your hands. Form into 4 patties and refrigerate until ready to use.
Spray grill rack with cooking spray. Heat grill to medium-high and cook patties until cooked through and no longer pink in center, about 10 minutes
